新锐奖获奖人王楠

王楠,中国农业科学院农业基因组研究所博士后、助理研究员。王楠长期从事无性繁殖作物的基因组学与遗传育种研究,整合遗传学与基因组学方法,解析了无性繁殖性状的关键基因及其基因组演化规律,阐明了无性繁殖作物在驯化过程中的单倍型差异与选择模式,揭示了其在育种过程中隐藏有害变异的非随机分布特征,并进一步探究了无性繁殖作物与近缘有性繁殖物种在基因组适应性方面的差异。他的相关研究成果为突破马铃薯、柑橘等典型无性繁殖作物的传统育种瓶颈提供了重要理论依据,为充分挖掘该类作物的育种潜力奠定了科学基础。目前分别以第一和共同第一作者在Nature、Nature Genetics、PLoS Genetics等期刊发表文章共9篇。


Wang Nan?,?Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Researcher at the Agricultural Genomics Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, has long been engaged in the research of genomics and genetic breeding in asexually propagated crops. By integrating genetic and genomic approaches, he has identified key genes associated with asexual propagation traits and elucidated their genomic evolutionary patterns. His work has also clarified the haplotype differences and selection patterns during the domestication of asexually propagated crops, revealing the non-random distribution of hidden deleterious variants in their breeding processes. Furthermore, he has explored the genomic adaptive differences between asexually propagated crops and their closely related sexually propagated species.

His research provides crucial theoretical foundations for overcoming traditional breeding bottlenecks in typical asexually propagated crops such as potatoes and citrus, laying a scientific basis for fully harnessing their breeding potential. To date, he has published a total of 9 articles as the first or co-first author in prestigious journals including?Nature,?Nature Genetics, and?PLoS Genetics.
