郭仲龙，中国科学院植物研究所副研究员。郭仲龙长期从事植物microRNA演化与数据整合研究，提出微型反向重复转座子驱动被子植物microRNA从头起源的分子模型，系统揭示microRNA快速产生与丢失的演化规律，阐明新生microRNA通过调控环境适应相关基因提高植物适应性的分子基础，深化了对非编码RNA演化机理和基因调控网络进化的认识，为理解植物适应复杂环境提供了新思路。同时，他主持构建的植物microRNA百科全书数据库PmiREN、木本植物多组学数据库和花粉智能识别平台AIpollen等开放资源，推动了植物非编码RNA研究的数据标准化和国际化共享，为全球科研社区提供了高质量的数据与分析平台。

Guo Zhonglong?, Associate Researcher at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has long been engaged in the evolution and data integration of plant microRNAs. He proposed a molecular model in which miniature inverted-repeat transposable elements (MITEs) drive the de novo origin of microRNAs in flowering plants, systematically revealing the evolutionary patterns of rapid microRNA emergence and loss. His work elucidates the molecular basis by which novel microRNAs enhance plant adaptability by regulating environment-related genes, deepening the understanding of non-coding RNA evolution and the evolution of gene regulatory networks. This provides new insights into how plants adapt to complex environments.

Simultaneously, he led the development of open-access resources such as the Plant microRNA Encyclopedia (PmiREN), a woody plant multi-omics database, and the AIpollen intelligent pollen identification platform. These initiatives have advanced data standardization and international sharing in plant non-coding RNA research, providing high-quality data and analytical platforms for the global scientific community.
